ASPIRANTS AND COMMUNITY CELEBRATE A GRACE-FILLED JANUARY IN THE SPIRIT OF DON BOSCO

On 26th January, the aspirants took part in a special day of reflection and confession, deepening their spiritual growth. The next day, 27th January, the community joyfully welcomed new aspirants to the house in the morning. In the evening, the DB Dream Lantern Ceremony filled the seminary with light, joy, and festivity. On 28th January, a creative and adventurous treasure hunt was organized under the animation of Br. Ashan, which brought much excitement and camaraderie among the boys.

The Vespers service in honor of St. John Bosco was animated by Fr. Reginald, the Rector of the Technical Institute in Negombo. His presence and reflections enriched the spiritual atmosphere of the occasion.

The month concluded with two spiritual highlights: the monthly recollection and confessions on 30th January, and on 31st January, the solemn celebration of our Father and Founder, St. John Bosco, uniting the community in thanksgiving for the precious gift of his charism and mission.

Thus, January 2024 was a month full of grace, academic progress, pastoral engagement, joyful community activities, and above all, deep spiritual enrichment, all lived in the spirit of Don Bosco.
