COMMUNITY BONDING AND GRATITUDE: DANKOTUWA SDB COMMUNITY'S THREE-DAY TRIP TO NUWARA ELIYA

From the 6th of May, the Dankotuwa Salesian of Don Bosco (SDB) community embarked on a memorable three-day trip to the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya. This journey was not just a fun loved but an opportunity for the community to relax, strengthen their bonds, and express their gratitude to some of their generous benefactors. The primary goal of the trip was to allow the members of the community to unwind and rejuvenate. Life within a religious community can be both spiritually fulfilling and demanding, and taking time for relaxation and leisure is essential to maintaining a healthy balance. Nuwara Eliya, with its serene lakes, rolling hills, and scenic beauty, provided the perfect setting for relaxation and reflection.

Throughout the trip, there were moments of camaraderie and fellowship as the members of the community shared meals, stories, and laughter. These moments of togetherness served to reinforce the sense of family and community that is at the heart of the SDB ethos.
