It is characterized by intricate footwork, graceful hand movements, and colorful costumes, making it a visual spectacle that reflects the island nation's history and traditions.

In the days and weeks following the inauguration, the seminarians began their training in Kandyan dance. They learned the intricate steps, hand gestures, and the symbolism behind each movement. The vibrant and colorful costumes that are an integral part of Kandyan dance added an extra layer of excitement to their training.
